This year’s CES is all about ultra HD (UHD) and connected cars. Among them is this collaboration between car maker Audi AG and Qualcomm — the world’s first 4G/LTE embedded car, the Audi A3.
Embedded with a Gobi MDM9215 chip, the Audi A3 gets internet access with speeds of up to 100Mbps. We spotted the car at the CES floor here in Las Vegas.
The embedded chip will provide in-car Wi-Fi hotspot, Internet radio, Web services and an augmented navigation system.
