Meizu has just announced their latest Android smartphone that is equipped with a 5.1-inch display and runs an Exynos 5 Octa CPU – the Meizu MX3.
To start with, the Meizu MX3 boasts a 5.1-inch display with a resolution of 1800 x 1080 or a pixel density of 412ppi, a 15:9 aspect ratio and a screen bezel that is just 2.9mm thin.
It sports a Sony-made 8 megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 lens and LED flash, 2 megapixel front-facing, Wolfson audio chip, NFC, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and comes in 16, 32, 64 and 128GB internal storage variants.
Powering the device is Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa CPU (quad Cortex-A15 1.6GHz cores + quad Cortex-A7 1.2GHz cores), 2GB of RAM, 2,400mAh battery, and Android 4.2 Jellybean skinned with Flyme 3.0 UI. All of these specs are housed in a body that is just 9.1mm thin.
Price starts at 2,500 Chinese Yuan (Php18,000) for the 16GB model up to 4,000 Chinese Yuan (Php29,000) for the 128GB model. No information yet on international availability.
