Along with other Haswell-powered devices we’ve seen during the 4th Gen Intel Core processor launch a couple of days ago, REDFOX was also there to showcase their SlimTouch WBST14 Ultrabook.
The REDFOX SlimTouch WBST14 sports a 14-inch full HD display, Haswell Intel Core i5-4200U CPU, Intel HD Graphics 4400, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, and a 3,900mAh battery.
At first glance, the SlimTouch’s body looks like it’s made of aluminum but it’s actually plastic. Although it looks okay in terms of aesthetics, the grey color makes it look “old-fashioned”. It also felt like it took inspiration from another ultrabook but I just can’t put my finger on which one.

We wanted to tinker with the SlimTouch when it was on display but unfortunately it’s a dummy unit and doesn’t even turn on. Also there was no rep during the time we were playing with it so we weren’t able to get any info regarding pricing and availability.
