After a handful of leaks and spending a fair amount of time in the rumor mill, Huawei has finally unveiled their slimmest creation to date, the Ascend P6.
Just how thin is the Ascend P6? Well, it only measures 6.18mm across the board, meaning it doesn’t come with “at its thinnest” phrase that we typically see on other thin handsets.
Inside this thin form factor, Huawei was able to squeeze in all the bells and whistles that we’ve come to expect from a flagship device. This includes 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, expandable 8GB internal storage and a pair of snappers.
These components are housed inside an all-metal chassis along with the Ascend P6’s disappointingly small 2,000mAh battery which, by the looks of it, is non-removable. With all of these parts accounted for, including the 4.7-inch HD display, the handset tips the scale at only 120 grams.
Huawei Ascend P6 specs:
4.7-inch 720p LCD screen, @312ppi
1.5GHz K3V2 quad-core processor

There’s currently no details about the Ascend P6′s official pricing. However, it’s been said that Huawei’s recently announced handset will initially be rolled out to the company’s homeland starting this month, followed by Western Europe launch due next month. Other markets are slated to follow after that.
