In a recent entry posted on the company’s official blog site (in German), LG Electronics Germany has confirmed its plans of releasing a Jelly bean update for the
Optimus 4X HD and Optimus L7.
With this update, these handsets are expected to provide a smoother response thanks to Project Butter implementation. Google Now is also expected to make an appearance after the update, as well as support for Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) and faster data transfer over NFC with Android Beam 2.0.
The Jelly bean update is said to be rolled out in the latter part of this month.
