Ricoh Omnidirectional camera lets you take 360° photos

Ricoh is currently developing an omnidirectional camera that lets you take full 360-degree panoramic images in one shot then sends it over to your smartphone or tablet.

The Ricoh omnidirectional camera uses two fisheye lenses, each covering an angle of 180 degrees. Both cameras simultaneously capture a photo then combines them into a single panoramic image. The Ricoh camera then automatically sends the captured image via WiFi to a tablet or smartphone for easy viewing. Watch the demo video below:

The Ricoh omnidirectional camera can only take still photos for now but Ricoh is planning to give it a video recording functionality and make it smaller as well.
