Lenovo launches IdeaPad Yoga 13

Lenovo has launched its latest touch-optimized convertible Ultrabook that once again, merges the functionality of a notebook and a tablet – the IdeaPad Yoga 13 .

If the ThinkPad Twist twists and folds its display to turn into a tablet, the IdeaPad Yoga 13 does things differently by utilizing a hinge that lets the display move 360 degrees. This allows the Yoga to easily turn from a laptop into a tablet just by folding. It’s a pretty cool feature but feels weird since the entire keyboard will be touching the surface, or your hands, when in tablet mode.

As for the display, the Yoga has a 13.3-inch HD+ display with multi-touch functionality and IPS for good viewing angles. Like the Twist, the Yoga 13 offers four modes of operation: laptop, tablet, tent and stand. Just choose which mode is most comfortable depending on the task you’ll be handling.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 specs:
13.3″ HD+ (1600 x 900) IPS display; 16:9 aspect ratio
